Sensors. Capacitive soil moisture (corrosion-resistant), DHT22 for temperature and humidity, BH1750 ambient light sensor. All readings pushed over MQTT with configurable intervals.
Connectivity. WiFi 2.4GHz via ESP32-C3. Mutual TLS to AWS IoT Core with per-device X.509 certificates. Automatic reconnection and buffered readings when connectivity drops.
Power. USB-C powered. Low-power sleep modes available for battery/solar setups when using Power-Saver AI mode.
Provisioning. Plug-and-claim: power the device, enter the claim code in the PlantHub app, and it self-provisions with secure credentials. Admin claim codes available for bulk greenhouse deployments.
